Australian Ministry of Sport

Hi All:

Great news. Someone in Australia passed MyBikeInfo to the government office working with cycling and they are interested in having us develop an iPhone/iPod Touch interface to the new online line system they are developing for the coaches, mechanics, and riders. Sweet. Keep sending us those comments! Best, Robert and the MyBikeInfo Development Team

MyBikeInfo and Fitting Systems

We've received some questions about whether or not MyBikeInfo as a fitting solution. MyBikeInfo is not a fitting solution! It is, however, the best, more thorough tool you can find to record that information. MyBikeInfo will work with Wooble-Naught, Retul, BikeFit, SICI, etc. If there are data fields missing, please go to http://www.MyBikeInfo.com, and let us know through the contact form. If you are about improving your performance by optimizing your fit, MyBikeInfo is here for you! Don't forget that MyBikeInfo has the best RSS feed reader in the entire iTunes store. ALL of your favorite feeds, right inside the App. Proceeds to prostate cancer prevention. Best regards, the MyBikeInfo Development Team

MyBikeInfo Now Works with iPod Touch Gen 1

Hi Everyone:

Great news from our iPod Touch Gen 1 Beta tester in Washington, DC. He just installed the 3.1.2 iPhone/iPod Touch software update and the new update to MyBikeInfo (1.01) and it now syncs!

A big thanks to him for his patience while we worked through the technical issue, and his willingness to be our guinea pig.

We are working on the next update and are very interested in understanding the functionality that is most important to you and functionality that might be added. Please drop us a line.

Best regards,

Robert and the MyBikeInfo Development Team

15 Countries and Counting

The MyBikeInfo App for iPhone and iPod Touch (2 gen and later) now has users in 15 countries around the world! Great stuff, and we are looking forward to generating funds to create additional prostate cancer awareness cycling events. We have just added a great hill climb event, the Reddish Knob Hill Climb Challenge, in Virginia for next October. If you are a climber and time trialist, Reddish Knob is a “must do” for your 2010 competition calendar.

If you are a MyBikeInfo user, we need your feedback on the Application. Please take a moment to rate the App in iTunes and send us an email with your thoughts and suggestions for the development roadmap.

Best regards, Robert and the MyBikeInfo Development Team.

Possible Data Loss When Upgrading Your iPhone or iPod Touch

Hello All:

Just a quick word of warning if you have MyBikeInfo and you are getting ready to upgrade to the iPhone 3GS. When you do, the MyBikeInfo application will reset itself, eliminating your data. So, before you upgrade, use the Export function to email your data to yourself - or to anyone else, for your records. We are working on a data retention method to resolve this issue. Fortunately, most of us don’t upgrade too often.

Please feel free to send us your issues and recommendations at MyBikeInfo@tsg.la.

Best regards,

Robert, and the MyBIkeInfo Development Team

Sync Issue with Gen1 iPod Touch

Hi Everyone:

A MyBikeInfo iPod Touch (Gen1) user just reported a sync issue between iTunes on his Mac and his Gen1 iPod Touch. We designed MyBikeInfo for Gen2 and later iPod Touch devices, but we have sent a revision to Apple that we believe will solve this issue. Apple is reviewing the update now and we expect the update to be available in iTunes within two weeks.

Thanks for your support and patience.

We're International!

It’s official. We now have MyBikeInfo users in the Netherlands, Austria, and Switzerland. Good thing cyclists in those countries are great with English:-) Best regards, The MyBikeInfo Team.

iPod Touch and RSS Feeds

Hi All: We received an email from an iPod Touch MyBikeInfo user about the RSS feeds. Please note that the iPod Touch needs to be connected to a wireless network for the RSS feeds and Sponsor page links to work. IPhone users simply need to have a cellular connection. Keep those emails coming. We’re working on a coaches version of the app. Best regards, the MyBikeInfo Team.
